MMH is offering FREE TSH (thyroid) and A1C (diabetes) screenings. These simple blood tests are done at the same time and provide important insights into your health. Our team will review your results via phone. Results will also be available in the MMH portal.
TSH Screening – Thyroid Health
The TSH test checks how well your thyroid is working.
- Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) – can cause weight loss, rapid heartbeat, nervousness, sweating, fatigue and an enlarged thyroid.
- Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) – can cause fatigue, weight gain, sensitivity to cold, dry skin, hair loss, irregular periods and depression
A1C Screening – Diabetes Health
The A1C test measures average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months. It helps healthcare providers:
- Detect prediabetes and diabetes
- Monitor blood sugar control for people with diabetes
- Guide and adjust treatment plans
