Did you know MMH is officially recognized by the government as a critical access hospital? To achieve this designation, a hospital must meet specific criteria, such as being located in a rural area, having no more than 25 inpatient beds and offering 24/7 emergency care services.

As a critical access hospital, MMH’s new facility will continue to provide 25 inpatient beds, just like our current facility, when we open next year. The exciting news is that all patient rooms in our new hospital will be private, ensuring a more comfortable and personalized experience for each patient.
