Did you know 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime? The good news is it’s highly treatable when detected early. Skin cancer exams are recommended annually for those at average risk and more often for those with higher risk factors, such as a history of skin cancer, numerous moles, fair skin or excessive sun exposure.
